Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and responsible caregiver to join our small residential care home in Westminster. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment where out residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
- Assist with meals and hydration
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Follow the resident’s care plan and facility policies
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Work cooperatively with the administrator and other caregivers.
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving or senior-care experience preferred
- RCFE experience preferred
- Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Must be able to pass required background clearance
- Current required caregiver training/CEUs preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
