McGuire’s Grill & Bar is looking for a dependable, hardworking Cook to join our team. We are looking to fill part time and full time positions. The Cook is responsible for preparing quality food in a timely and consistent manner while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. We are looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with coworkers, and takes pride in the food they serve.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to McGuire’s recipes and standards.
* Operate kitchen equipment, including the grill and fryer, safely and properly.
* Complete food prep and maintain adequate supplies throughout the shift.
* Ensure food is cooked, portioned, and presented consistently.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
* Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures.
* Properly store, label, rotate, and date food products.
* Monitor food quality and communicate when supplies are running low.
* Work closely with other cooks and servers to ensure orders are accurate and completed promptly.
* Assist with dishes, cleaning, trash, and other kitchen duties as needed.
* Complete opening and closing duties for the kitchen.
* Follow all McGuire’s policies and procedures.

* Willingness to clean and maintain an organized kitchen.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift/carry typical kitchen supplies.
* Previous restaurant or cooking experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider applicants who are dependable and willing to learn.
* Availability for evenings and weekends as scheduled.
