Sales Territory Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Summary
Sales Territory Managers (STM) will oversee and expand our market presence within designated geographic regions. STMs will operate as the primary point of contact for our clients, serving as a strategic partner to help them achieve their business goals through our services. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives on building long term relationships, navigating a mobile work environment, and taking full ownership of a territory's growth and success. The position requires strict adherence to safety, compliance, and performance standards to ensure the effective expansion of our transportation network.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Strategic Territory Oversight by Developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan to increase market share and maintain high retention rates among existing accounts.
- Relationship Management
- Serve as the face of the company, conducting regular in-person visits to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, lead generation, and client interactions within the CRM database to inform future strategy.
- Operational Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are met and that account-specific processes (such as the ACT process) are followed accurately.
- Exhibit professional conduct and represent the company in a positive manner with customers and team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience
- Preferred minimum 1 year background in meeting goals and effectively managing a sales pipeline
- Technical proficiency; comfortable using digital tools for daily operations
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must complete company onboarding process, including drug screening, and background check
- Successful completion of new-hire training and assessments
Physical Requirements
This position requires but is not limited to the following physical requirements: travel endurance, mobility to enter and exit a vehicle and mobility to navigate various customer environments, stationary tasks for 50%-75% of the work day, manual dexterity, and occasional ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 lbs.
In addition, this position requires but is not limited to the following cognitive requirements: Maintain situational awareness, read and interpret data and communications, and interpret navigation. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Working Environment
This position operates in various environments, including indoor docks, enclosed vehicles, and outdoor areas. Work may occur in extreme temperatures, inclement weather, low-light conditions and around moving equipment or other personnel engaged in freight handling.
Operating Schedule
Days: Monday through Friday Shifts: AM — schedules are determined by operational requirements and subject to change.

Wage Range: 72000.00 - 120000.00 per year
