Position: Full-Time Store Manager
About the Position
Tokyo Valentino is seeking an experienced, dependable, and professional Store Manager for our Cheshire Bridge Road location in Atlanta.
This is a full-time management position with a fixed evening schedule of Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
Tokyo Valentino is an established adult lifestyle retail store. Candidates must be comfortable working in and managing an adult-oriented retail environment and interacting professionally with a diverse customer base.
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the store during their scheduled hours, including supervising employees, providing excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, handling cash and inventory, and helping ensure the store operates safely, professionally, and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their store, can effectively manage employees, and is comfortable making decisions and handling issues independently when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the store during scheduled hours
- Supervise, direct, and support store employees
- Maintain appropriate staffing and assist with employee scheduling
- Train and coach employees and ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Address employee performance and disciplinary issues when necessary
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused environment
- Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer concerns
- Oversee opening, closing, and end-of-day procedures
- Manage cash handling, register procedures, deposits, and cash accountability
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control
- Help prevent theft, shrinkage, and other losses
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, merchandising, and overall appearance
- Ensure products are properly stocked and displayed
- Respond appropriately to security, customer, employee, or operational issues
- Communicate maintenance or facility issues to upper management
- Complete required reports, paperwork, and management communications
- Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Work with ownership and upper management to improve store operations, customer service, and sales
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous retail management or comparable management experience
- Experience directly supervising employees
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with employee scheduling, training, and performance management
- Cash-handling and point-of-sale experience
- Experience with inventory control and loss prevention
- Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills
- The ability to remain professional and make good decisions in difficult situations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dependable transportation and the ability to consistently report to work on time
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for the operation of the store
- Comfort working in an adult-oriented retail environment
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: $1,400 per week / $72,800 per year
Regular Schedule:
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM–2:00 AM
- Thursday: 6:00 PM–2:00 AM
- Friday: 6:00 PM–2:00 AM
- Saturday: 6:00 PM–2:00 AM
- Sunday: 6:00 PM–2:00 AM
- Monday: Off
- Tuesday: Off
This is a permanent evening-management schedule. Applicants should only apply if they are consistently available to work these hours.
Paid Time Off: One week of paid vacation per year.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a manager who is reliable, mature, organized, and comfortable taking charge of a store. The right candidate should be able to manage employees while also being willing to step in and handle whatever needs to be done to keep the store operating properly.
