Mechanical Design Engineer

We are expanding our team! Keenline Conveyor Systems is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Keenline, you will be responsible for taking the project from the starting line to the finish line. Keenline is located in Omro, WI and we have been designing and manufacturing conveying equipment for over 75 years. Essential Functions:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Inventor).
- Develop 3D mechanical drawings and 2D line layout drawings for our new product lines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Participate in team reviews to understand design intent and specifications.
- Review and modify designs based on feedback and testing results.
- Determine whether a design solution is user-friendly, yet still cost-effective
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during the manufacturing process.
- Support project management efforts by tracking design progress and meeting deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated and a strong critical thinker
Education and Experience requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 5+ years of prior related experience preferred (Previous conveyor systems experience is a plus)

Skills and Abilities required for this position:
- AutoCAD Mechanical
- AutoCAD Inventor (Other 3D software's acceptable)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Vault or other PDM software's
- Microsoft Office tools

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
