Automotive Technician Qualifications include:
● Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in the automotive industry
● Strong knowledge of automotive systems including powertrains and diesel engines preferred
● Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus.
● One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
● Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification (preferred)
● State Mechanic Certificates
● Able to work within a Team Environment
● Valid Driver's License
● Clean Drug Screen
● Must have own tools
Automotive Technician Responsibilities
● Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
● Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
● Utilize schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
● Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
● Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills.
● Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
