Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks to support residential and restoration projects. You will work closely with project managers, lead carpenters, and other tradespeople to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Duties
- Assist in framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, and drywall installation using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, windows, and hardware with precision and care.
- Conduct restoration tasks including water damage remediation, mold remediation.
- Support demolition and remodeling activities by removing old materials and preparing sites for new construction or repairs.
Requirements
- Willing to train the right candidate. experience in construction or related fields with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, grinders).
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
- Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites
- Experience with various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, roofing, or masonry is highly desirable but not mandatory .
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
