Sundigo Solar Manufacturing Inc. is a newly established solar component manufacturing facility located in Lyerly. We are seeking a driven and experienced leader who is excited about helping establish operations, build a strong production team, and create a positive manufacturing culture from the ground up.
Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lyerly. The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across the production floor. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader looking to grow with a newly established facility and play a key role in developing processes, leading teams, and supporting long-term operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the manufacturing floor
- Lead, train, and develop production team members
- Help establish workflows, team expectations, and operational procedures within a newly established facility
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Track and report production metrics including output, efficiency, scrap rate, and downtime
- Collaborate with management on production planning and continuous process improvements
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure products meet company specifications
- Coordinate with supply chain regarding raw material inventory and production needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support the development of a positive, team-oriented manufacturing culture
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with production planning and scheduling
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and workplace safety
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and lead effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in solar manufacturing is a plus
- Bilingual in Chinese/English or Spanish/English is a plus
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
- $70,000-$80,000 - Competitive salary based on experience
