Dispatcher/Customer Service:
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team as the central hub for our towing operations. This role is fast-paced and critical to our daily success, handling dispatching, office administration, and customer service for both police and private towing calls.
Schedule - 40 Hours:
- Friday 9am-5pm
- Saturday 6am-6pm
- Sunday 6am-6pm
- Monday 9am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch tow truck drivers to calls, monitor routes via GPS, and ensure timely responses.
- Answer emergency and non-emergency phone calls with a professional and courteous approach.
- Manage vehicle releases from our impound lot, verifying documentation and processing payments.
- Enter call details, impound paperwork, and other records accurately into our towing management software.
- Coordinate with police agencies and customers, ensuring precise communication and attention to detail.
- Handle general office tasks including data entry, filing, payment processing, and other administrative duties.
- Stay organized and maintain accurate records of call logs, vehicle releases, customer transactions, and internal reports.
- Prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Must pass a strict pre-employment drug test - NO MEDICAL MARIJUANA ALLOWED
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer systems.
- Typing speed and accuracy is essential for high-volume data entry.
- Prior experience answering multi-line phones in a busy office setting.
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
- Clean criminal background.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Must provide at least three professional references for verification.
