The Vermont Department of Health, Division of Substance Use Program is seeking an individual to support grant management, subrecipient monitoring, invoice reconciliation and Division operations. This role focuses on financial reconciliation, grant compliance, and audit readiness, as well as overall Division operations. The Program Technician will collaborate with community grantees, grant managers and the general public to ensure federal and state grant management regulation compliance.

It is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Limited Service positions are established for specially funded projects or programs.

AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS: Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position. Two years or more of full-time college coursework OR Associate's degree or higher AND three (3) years or more of experience above a technical level in program administration (such as administering components of a licensing and certification program, or records management).
OR
High School diploma or equivalent AND four (4) years or more of experience above a technical level in program administration (such as administering components of a licensing and certification program, or records management).
OR
Two (2) years or more of experience as a Program Technician II with the State of Vermont.
