We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support warehouse, yard, and jobsite operations. The ideal candidate will have forklift operating experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
This role involves loading, unloading, sorting, stacking, identifying materials, maintaining warehouse and yard cleanliness, and assisting senior storekeepers with inventory and material handling activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload warehouse materials using a forklift.
- Assist Sr. Storekeepers with receiving, storing, and organizing materials.
- Sort, stack, and identify inventory and materials accurately.
- Maintain warehouse, yard, and jobsite cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Support inventory movement and material distribution activities as needed.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of related warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive work ethic.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Perform heavy lifting on a regular basis.
- Kneel, squat, twist, and bend throughout the workday.
- Climb ladders safely.
- Work in warehouse, yard, and outdoor environments.
- Perform job duties in adverse weather conditions.
- Safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
