We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Survey Crew Chief to join our growing team in Georgetown.
What You’ll Do
As a Construction Survey Crew Chief, you’ll play a key role in the success of our field operations and construction projects throughout Central Texas.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising daily field survey operations
- Performing construction staking, boundary, and topographic surveys
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, specifications, and tolerances
- Communicating daily with project managers, engineers, and technicians regarding schedules and progress
- Working directly with construction supervisors and field personnel
- Collecting and interpreting survey data with accurate field documentation
- Preparing daily reports, time sheets, sketches, and notes
- Maintaining survey vehicles and field equipment
- Following company safety procedures and best practices
- Anticipating and solving field issues efficiently and professionally

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of land surveying experience
- Prior Crew Chief experience preferred
- Strong construction staking experience required
- Experience operating GNSS receivers and data collectors
- Strong technical, mathematical, and computer skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proven work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening
- Ability to travel overnight occasionally when needed
