Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Systems Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support employees and help maintain our Microsoft, Windows, networking, virtualization, and security environments. This role is ideal for someone with helpdesk or desktop support experience who is ready to grow into systems administration. An expert knowledge of every technology we use is not required. However, candidates should have a strong technical foundation, good troubleshooting habits, clear communication, dependability, and a genuine desire to learn.
Location
This role is 100% onsite and located at our Claremore, Oklahoma site.
Key Responsibilities
- User Support & Troubleshooting – Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for internal hardware, software, network connectivity, and printers.
- Account Administration – Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords via Active Directory or Microsoft 365. Handle employee onboarding and offboarding activities such as computer deployment and phone system configuration.
- Server Monitoring – Monitor server performance, verify regular data backups, and apply software updates or security patches.
- Documentation – Maintain up-to-date system documentation, network layouts, and inventory logs.
- Participation in Infrastructure Projects – Assist with larger scale projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical work experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows computers and business applications
- Basic understanding of IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills
- Clear communication skills to assist non-technical staff
- Careful, security-conscious approach to technical changes
- Familiarity with AI Tools
- Technical training, certification, degree, or equivalent hands-on experience
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
