Shift: Night
Pay Rate: $19.00
Shift premium: $1.00
Position Summary:
Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments and prepares items for shipment.
Monitors incoming materials, comparing identifying information and counting, weighing and/or measuring items to verify accuracy.
Put away inbound items. Examines incoming materials to ensure that they are intact and damage free. Operates lift truck or handtruck to move, convey or hoist materials to staging areas or rack locations.
Pulls items for further processing. Determines area and location for transfer of material. Records all shortages and damages and reports issues to teamleader for further investigation.
Prepares, stages materials for truck loading. Counts and transports materials for customer and intra company freight. Transports materials, scrap, supplies as needed for manufacturing.
Coordinate with Machine Operators to ensure that proper amount of correct material is available at machinery to allow for uninterrupted production.
Inspect lift (battery or gas) daily and perform maintenance on the vehicle and report any maintenance deficiencies.
Responsible for transporting pallet covers and pallets from inventory racks and warehouse, to production area.
Qualifications
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of relevant experience
Ability to interface effectively with employees, vendors, and customers of all levels.
Flexibility within a high-performance work environment.
Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
Able to work without close supervision.
Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications, SAP, and Sym-ple experience preferred.
Forklift Certification is preferred.
