POSITION: Computer Programmer Developer
HOURS: Full Time, 40 hours per week - Monday – Friday (Four 10 hour days or Five 8 hour days)
SALARY: $82,390-$164,500 (based upon experience)
Role and Responsibilities:
The Computer Programmer Developer will work in both design and development stages of software creation and helps to develop the ways that software functions and works. The Computer Programmer will work as a designer to help consolidate disparate program functions into a unified whole. The Programmer also works with lower-level programmers to help map out various programming tasks and smaller functions, which are then combined into larger, Functioning programs or new features for existing software. They may gather requirements directly from an end user or they may gather such information from the project managers and Software Support and Development Director. The Programmer will typically help to plot out the various aspects of the automated tasks that will be necessary, usually using design documentation and flowcharts to help illustrate the process.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· 3-5+ years programming experience.
· Applicant must have strong background in IT business and must have an understanding of how large applications work, not just the user interface, but the complete infrastructure understanding; database, interfaces, routing and business rules.
· Experience in designing and develop application components.
· Experience in testing and documenting software.
· Ability to write SQL.
· Ability to code with Java, JavaScript, PHP, Rust, C# or C/C++.
· Experience with Tyler Munis ERP solution is a plus
· Ability to analyze requirements and transform them into technical designs.
· Upon request, must show practical experience in programming and coding.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
