Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their breakfast experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and payments
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with integrity and attention to detail
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including basic food assembly and maintaining cleanliness in the café area
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and promote specials or new offerings effectively
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, bussing tables, and ensuring food safety compliance
- Manage time efficiently during busy breakfast hours to serve customers promptly and keep lines moving smoothly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail math is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
