Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Foreman to lead and oversee plumbing projects on construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. As a key leader in our team, you will coordinate plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair activities across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in construction plumbing, building codes, and mechanical systems will drive project success while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance activities on construction sites, ensuring work is completed on time and within scope.
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Lead a team of plumbers and apprentices by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to promote a high standard of craftsmanship.
- Oversee the proper installation of gas piping systems, HVAC connections, pipe systems, and remodeling projects while adhering to project specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections of plumbing systems for leaks, proper function, and code compliance; troubleshoot issues promptly for effective resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to construction plans, schematics, safety protocols, and project progress reports.
- Enforce safety regulations on-site by conducting regular safety meetings, ensuring heavy lifting procedures are followed, and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, electricians, carpenters, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow across all phases of construction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building regulations, schematics reading, pipe installation techniques including pipe threading and gas piping systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools essential for plumbing tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems or MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret construction plans effectively.
- Experience supervising teams on construction sites with excellent leadership skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, working at heights or confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of troubleshooting complex plumbing issues efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving if required; experience with field service operations preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; carpentry or handyman experience is a plus for versatile site support.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
