Job Details
- Temporary, 6-Month Position (Approximately 6 months from date of hire)
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls, answering and directing calls promptly and professionally.
- Process and distribute daily incoming and outgoing mail.
- Create new customer profiles and maintain accurate information on existing customer accounts.
- Create and assign job numbers as needed.
- Prepare and organize morning paperwork and daily administrative documents.
- Perform cash/till counts when payments are received and ensure accurate documentation.
- Complete routine bank deposits and bank runs as needed.
- Scan, organize, and digitally archive historical job documents and records.
- Provide general administrative support to the office and assist with additional tasks as needed, based on system access and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or receptionist role preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and office systems.
- Ability to handle confidential customer and company information appropriately.
- Ability to accurately handle cash and complete basic financial transactions.
- Reliable transportation and ability to make occasional bank runs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
Pay & Benefits
- $19.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
