NSC Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Welder for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Clearwater, FL.
JOB DETAILS:
PAY: $19–$24/hr (based on experience)
START: ASAP
DURATION: Temp-to-Perm
HOURS: 40 hrs/week
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday
SHIFT: 9:00 pm – 6:30 am
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
SCOPE:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on structural steel and fabricated components
- Fit, tack, weld, and inspect assemblies
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Operate grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
- Inspect work and maintain quality standards
- Work independently while meeting production deadlines
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of welding experience
- MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience
- Structural steel and fabrication experience
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Required PPE
- Must pass a basic NSC background check
