Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber Technician/Handyman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing and water systems across various construction sites and commercial properties. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in commercial or residential settings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and perform repairs
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute projects
- Conduct plumbing inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards
- Use welding skills where necessary for pipe fabrication or repairs involving metal components
- Perform remodeling tasks such as carpentry, assembly, and general handyman duties on construction sites
- Assist with HVAC system maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting as needed
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in commercial or residential projects
- Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and plumbing inspection cameras
- Familiarity with local building codes related to plumbing and water systems to ensure compliance
- Mechanical knowledge of water systems, HVAC components, and general plumbing system maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites or during remodeling projects
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
- Experience with carpentry, remodeling, assembly work, or handyman tasks is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel or material transport
