We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Lake Havasu City, AZ, 86403. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical settings. As a Float Medical Assistant, you will be required to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing insurance claims.
- Work in multiple locations as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations as needed
- Experience working in a float position
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
