Give 'Em A Brake Safety is seeking an experienced CDL driver. Fully licensed and equipped to operate all required commercial vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to tractor-trailers and heavy machinery. Key Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with all DOT regulations
- Transport equipment from different Give 'Em A Brake facilities to job site locations
- Install guardrail and set up as needed
- May preform other traffic control responsibilities when not operating equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload freight, as required
- Ensure the security and safety of cargo at all times
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate effectively and professionally
- Complete paperwork daily for each job as required
Work Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Clean driving record with no recent moving violations or accidents.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Must pass background and reference checks
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
