We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Infant Room Lead Teacher to join our team. In this vital role, you will lead and inspire a team of caregivers while creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our infants. Your passion for early childhood education and expertise in infant care will help shape the foundational experiences of our youngest learners. Duties
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a nurturing and structured environment tailored to infants’ developmental needs
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
- Monitor and document each infant’s progress, behaviors, and milestones to communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and health guidelines
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to support individual needs and encourage respectful interactions
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive team environment focused on quality childcare and education
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that complies with licensing standards and promotes a healthy space for infants
Skills
- Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or preschool setting, including classroom management and caregiving techniques
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications are a plus
- Strong understanding of early childhood education practices, including classroom experience in daycare or nannying environments
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
- Ability to manage behavioral challenges with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to infant care

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
