Job Summary
Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Support. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting our cooks and FOH during rushes, washing dishes, maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment, supporting food preparation and service, and ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or portioning ingredients under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team by bussing tables, clearing plates, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and prep areas.
- Ensure all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment are sanitized regularly to uphold sanitation standards.
Skills
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, or mixers.
- Prior catering or food preparation experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
