Responsibilities
- Assist in TMD/sleep medicine appointments
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Create reports for patients and providers
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Keep rooms clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
- Order and track appliances
- Refill prescriptions
Skills
- Proven experience as an assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Experience in ortho is a plus!
