Position Overview
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC and mechanical systems

Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans

Conduct plumbing connections and proper refrigerant handling

Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues

Weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs

Perform field service tasks and ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes

Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used in ServiceTitan
-
Assist with system start-up, testing, and commissioning as required
Qualifications

Minimum 1+ years of working experience as an HVAC Service Technician or Installer

Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and mechanical repair

Experience reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques

Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record

EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment

Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
