Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Team Member specializing in Front Counter service and Food Preparation! Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and efficiently take their orders at the front counter using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items accurately and swiftly, maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness of the food prep area, dining space, and service stations by bussing tables and performing sanitation tasks regularly.
- Assist with food safety compliance by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service, managing multiple tasks efficiently, and demonstrating strong time management skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Experience with food preparation, food safety protocols, and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
- Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry will help you succeed in this role.
