Florida Sleep Specialists is seeking an energetic and experienced medical assistant to join our rapidly growing practice. The position duties include preparing visits for the doctor, acquisition of test results, patient preparation, charting in the EHR, processing incoming phone calls, executing physician's orders, and processing medication prior authorizations. We are a fast paced office that emphasizes attention to detail, exemplary patient care, and efficient workflow. Experience with EHR is required. No experience in sleep medicine is necessary.
The exemplary candidate will: have two or more years experience as a medical assistant, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, have a strong work ethic, have excellent organizational skills, be able to work quickly and accurately, and have a passion for helping people.
Compensation is above market average, with paid time off, productivity bonus incentives, and participation in group health plan.'
