Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems and inventory software to track stock levels accurately.
- Prepare, pack, and ship orders efficiently, ensuring compliance with shipping & receiving standards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload shipments.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to order fulfillment, stock movements, and shipment documentation.
- Support order picking & packing processes using pick lists, RF scanners, and warehouse distribution techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations, improve logistics workflows, and meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely.
- Strong data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation purposes.
- Excellent customer service mindset to support internal teams and external partners effectively.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and e-commerce fulfillment processes is a plus.
