Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Experience supporting school-aged children, including IEP participation and documentation
- Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and compassion for diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and caregivers
- Contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Teams and IEP meetings, providing tailored recommendations
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements
- Facilitate group and individual therapy, fostering student progress toward measurable goals
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and support staff to enhance student success
