Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, including assessments of physiology, anatomy, and medical history.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clinical documentation standards and best practices in physiotherapy.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, self-care techniques, and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term wellness.
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient, outpatient, or home health settings.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and related medical terminology.
- Experience with outpatient rehabilitation centers, hospital environments, or outpatient clinics
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems such as EMR systems used in healthcare facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans and adapt therapies based on patient progress.
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
