Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. The Delivery Driver will operate box trucks and/or step vans
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or step van to deliver packages to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items during transport.
- Read maps and deliver efficiently
- Maintain accurate scanning of deliveries and pickups, paying particular attention to pickup windows
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients upon delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance
Requirements
- Minimum age 21
- Able to pass a Federal Background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Makes safety the utmost priority
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed.
- Valid driver's license with a fairly clean driving record
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics planning is beneficial.
