Job Description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift to join our team in El Paso, TX. This role is responsible for leading production operations and ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments, including electrical wiring and assembly operations. Success in this role requires strong leadership skills, manufacturing expertise, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
This position will support 2nd-shift operations, Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with flexibility to cover weekends as needed.
What will you do?
Production Schedule Achievement

Ensure the successful attainment of production schedules while maintaining focus on safety, cost efficiency, quality standards, and lead-time targets.

Monitor production performance and proactively address issues impacting operational objectives.

Drive accountability and execution to meet departmental and site performance goals.
Team Training and Development

Organize and address the training needs of production teams to enhance technical skills, product knowledge, and overall performance.

Mentor and coach employees to support career growth and workforce capability development.

Foster a continuous learning environment focused on employee engagement and operational excellence.
Process Improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve industrial and manufacturing processes.

Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive productivity, quality, and efficiency gains.

Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and optimize workflow throughout production operations.
People Management

Lead all aspects of people management, including:

What qualifications will make you successful?

Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or people leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

Experience working in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment supporting customized products, assemblies, or project-based manufacturing operations.
-
Experience supervising or supporting teams performing electrical wiring, panel wiring, control wiring, switchgear, switchboard, motor control center (MCC), power distribution equipment, or related electrical assembly operations.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and operational best practices.

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience within electrical equipment, energy management, industrial automation, power distribution, or related manufacturing industries.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.

Experience managing production metrics, workforce planning, and performance improvement initiatives.

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing scheduling processes.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 115,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
