Subsidiary: Steel Dynamics Overview:
Assist employees and contractors in finding parts, receiving, cycle counting, tracking warehouse inventory, and manage part repair logs.
Responsibilities:
- Accept deliveries, check-in products/place into proper stocking locations, pick parts, issue parts to appropriate departments, perform cycle counts, and assist employees and contractors as “customers”

Investigate and report inventory discrepancies

Operate Forklift and Reach Truck

Vacation coverage for coworkers (including swing shift when necessary)

Other tasks assigned by Supervisor and Department Manager
Qualifications:
Required

Strong focus on safety
-
Ability to work a 4 on/4 off swing shift

Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

Detailed oriented, strong communication skills, and Self-Starter

Preferred: Knowledge of Excel, and Outlook software, Forklift certified, knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or welding replacement parts helpful.
