FlexTrades is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong setup and operation experience on both CNC mills and CNC lathes. This role requires the ability to manage multiple machines within a manufacturing cell, perform quality inspections, interpret blueprints, and maintain production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual bore honing and manual bench lapping machines
- Hone and lap precision hydraulic components to extremely tight tolerances
- Work with small diameter parts ranging from .150" to 1/2" diameter
- Perform polishing operations on hardened stainless steel and chrome-plated components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, routers, and work instructions
- Measure and inspect parts using air gauges, micrometers, profilometers, and hand gauges
- Verify part quality, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy throughout production
- Perform hydraulic flow bench verification of completed components
- Document inspection results and discrepancy information as required
- Maintain quality standards in a high-precision job shop manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- Experience setting up manual honing machines
- Experience operating manual lap machines
- Precision manufacturing background
- Bore honing experience
- Bench lapping experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- GD&T knowledge
- Precision measurement experience
- Tight tolerance machining
- Hydraulic component experience
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay: $48/hour
- Guaranteed Overtime Each Week paid at time and a half
- Access to a full suite of benefits
- Travel Pay to and from the project
- Paid lodging (Single-Occupancy Hotel Room)
- Per diem ($45/day)
