Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor/Foreman to lead on diverse projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with project managers, and drive project success through effective supervision and management. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide team activities and ensure accurate execution.
- Manage and oversee subcontractors and labor crews, providing clear direction and supervision to optimize productivity.
- Track progress, and update project documentation.
- Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Ensure proper use of construction site equipment and tools while maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel.
- Facilitate communication among team members regarding project updates, safety concerns, or changes in scope.
Skills
- Proven supervising or management experience in commercial construction projects.
- Expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate site execution.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety compliance.
- Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, and managing contracts effectively.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on supervising teams to meet deadlines while maintaining high safety standards.
- Ability to use technical instruments such as ohmmeters for quality control inspections.
- Construction site experience with a solid understanding of construction estimating processes and quality assurance procedures. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
