Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Type: Contract to Hire – 12 Weeks
Schedule: Specific hours and days will be discussed during the interview to best align with your availability and available courses/clinicals.
Weekly Hours: Flexible — from a few clinical rotation hours per week to full-time (36–40 hours)
Alto Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Educator (BSN or MSN) with medical-surgical experience for a 12-week temp-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you’ll provide clinical instruction and mentorship to nursing students during medical-surgical rotations, supporting their development of safe and effective nursing skills in approved healthcare settings. Flexible scheduling options available (full-time or part-time).
What you’ll do:
- Deliver clinical instruction in medical-surgical nursing in healthcare and simulation settings
- Supervise and evaluate student performance, providing timely, constructive feedback
- Lead pre- and post-clinical conferences to reinforce learning objectives
- Develop individualized remediation plans for students as needed
- Collaborate with faculty and clinical staff to ensure quality and compliance
- Participate in program evaluation and curriculum activities as assigned
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing required (MSN preferred)
- Current unencumbered RN license for Ohio or multistate privilege
- Minimum 2 years of RN clinical experience, medical-surgical specialty strongly preferred
- Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience preferred
