Job Summary:
Uses accounting principles and standards to analyze and interpret Accounts Payable procedures.
Performs all Accounts Payable while assisting the Accounting Manager and/or Assistant Controller and the Controller as needed.
Essential Functions:
_ Processes all invoices and obtains the necessary approvals prior to processing for payment.
_ Processes patient and employee reimbursements and petty cash expense reports after verifying
accuracy and compliance with company policies.
_ Creates and manages Vendor Master List in accounting system and ensures W-9 compliance.
_ Allocate and sort invoices by location and account name or number and include detailed
descriptions of services provided and service dates.
_ Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
_ Communicate with vendors, departments, and field personnel regarding invoices and contracts as needed.
_ Actively participate in the month end closing process by meeting established deadlines.
_ Actively participate in the annual financial audit by gathering invoices as needed.
_ Assist with ongoing automation project initiatives
_ Maintain confidentiality and safeguards the operations of business.
Essential Qualifications:

Education/Licensure/Certification: Associates Degree or 3+ years in the Accounting field
Required Knowledge: Understanding of GAAP. Knowledge of computer and Internet
applications, accounting systems. Understanding of budget and reporting requirements.
Experience Required: 3+ years progressive professional-level experience in the
accounting or finance field. Previous Accounts Payables experience preferred.
Skill and Ability: Must possess strong organizational, supervisory, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Must have strong leadership and project management skills. Must
have great attention to detail. Requires excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Products, Great Plains, and FRX. Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality, discretion and integrity.
