Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beauty.
- Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to create customized looks.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail upselling to boost client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing wait times, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling, barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and grooming services
- Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation practices, and current hair trends.
