Duties
- Safely prepare and handle food items in accordance with food safety management standards and sanitation protocols
- Operate POS systems
- Manage cash handling procedures, including balancing registers and preparing deposits at shift end
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective sales techniques
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail sales transactions will be advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards is essential
- Strong time management skills to efficiently close out shifts while maintaining quality service standards
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
