Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube / Alignment Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle maintenance. As a Lube / Tire / Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential services that ensure the optimal performance of our customers' vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. MUST HAVE OWN BASIC HAND TOOLS/ TOOLSET
Responsibilities
- Perform routine oil changes and lubrication services on various types of vehicles.
- Conduct tire services including rotation, alignment, and pressure checks.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle conditions and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding vehicle maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on automotive technology and industry trends to enhance service efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive service and maintenance.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to vehicle repairs.
- Experience with tire services including alignment and balance/ rotation is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic suspension and steering diagnostics to identify issues effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Previous experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment is a plus.
