What You'll Do
- Review and interpret policy coverage to determine whether the claim is payable under the policy
- Correspond with insured's, claimants, medical specialists, agents, and witnesses to compile information
- Take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties
- Calculate and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit
- Negotiate and settle property losses with little oversight
- Identify recovery and subrogation potential and handle according to company procedural guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Possess and maintain Property & Casualty Adjuster License issued by the Texas Department of Insurance
- High school Diploma or GED, College degree is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in handling personal auto claims
- Wields exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
