Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the Help Alert panic alarm system:
- Replace batteries and devices as needed.
- Ensure daily system functionality and communication with TCPD.
Maintain UPS systems across campus:
- Check battery status and replace as needed.
- Perform firmware updates on APC and Tripp Lite devices.
- Keep detailed maintenance and inventory records.
Managing the Lenel OnGuard access control system:
- Processing fob access requests
- Maintaining battery-powered door locks across campus.
- Troubleshoot with vendor when needed.
Assist the Network Services team with:

Port testing and physical troubleshooting.
Productively shadow and learn from full-time network team members.
Communicate issues clearly and escalate when appropriate.
Ensure compliance with IT protocols and security standards.
Support other duties as needed to assist the Network Services and IT team.
