About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Home Improvement Foreman to manage residential remodeling and home improvement projects across the Bay Area. This role is for someone with hands-on construction experience who can manage crews, protect jobsite quality, keep projects moving, and make sure work is completed safely, correctly, and according to company standards.
Main ResponsibilitiesJobsite Management
- Manage daily work on residential home improvement projects.
- Supervise crews, subcontractors, installers, and laborers.
- Make sure work is completed according to scope, plans, and schedule.
- Keep the jobsite clean, organized, safe, and professional.
- Report daily progress, issues, photos, and updates to management.
Home Improvement Work
- Oversee roofing, foundation retrofit, crawlspace work, framing, insulation, windows, doors, HVAC coordination, kitchen, bathroom, exterior paint, and general remodeling projects.
- Understand basic construction sequencing and quality control.
- Identify jobsite problems before they become bigger issues.
- Verify materials, measurements, and project details before and during work.
- Help coordinate inspections, deliveries, and subcontractor schedules.
Crew & Subcontractor Coordination
- Give clear instructions to workers and subcontractors.
- Make sure crews arrive on time and complete assigned tasks.
- Check workmanship and correct mistakes quickly.
- Communicate respectfully but firmly with teams in the field.
- Keep production moving without unnecessary delays.
Customer Communication & Reporting
- Represent the company professionally with homeowners.
- Answer basic customer questions and escalate major issues to management.
- Send jobsite photos and updates daily.
- Track materials, change orders, delays, and jobsite issues.
- Help close out projects with final walkthroughs and punch lists.
Requirements
- Experience: Must have home improvement, remodeling, or residential construction experience. Foreman, lead installer, project lead, or field supervisor experience is preferred.
- Specialties: Experience with roofing, foundation, retrofit, framing, crawlspace, or general remodeling is a strong plus.
- Skills: Must understand jobsite quality, safety, scheduling, and crew management. Must be able to read basic scopes of work, measurements, and project notes. Strong communication skills with crews, customers, and management.
- Traits: Reliable, organized, responsible, and able to solve problems in the field.
- Logistics: Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation. Must be based in the Bay Area and able to travel between jobsites.

- Leadership & Execution: Has managed residential crews before, knows how to keep jobs moving, and can control workmanship without drama.
- Quality Control & Ownership: Strong in photos, updates, and follow-up. Does not need constant supervision.
