Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our tenants, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, identifying potential security risks.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related matters.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior.
Skills
- Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations calmly.
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with diverse groups.
