OTR Box Truck Driver – CDL – 20% Commission
Solano & Sons Logistics LLC is seeking a dependable CDL OTR Box Truck Driver for a full-time driving position. We are a growing interstate carrier looking for a reliable, safety-conscious driver interested in over-the-road work and commission-based earning potential.
Pay
- 20% of load revenue
- Estimated earnings of approximately $1,200–$1,800 per week, depending on load volume and revenue
- Pay is commission-based and may vary based on available loads and weekly revenue
Position Details
- Full-time OTR (Over-the-Road)
- 2022 Freightliner M2 106 box/straight truck
- General dry freight
- Interstate and multi-state routes
- Truck currently based in New Jersey
- Driver must be comfortable traveling and staying on the road for OTR assignments
Driver Requirements
- Valid CDL – Class A or Class B accepted
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Must meet applicable DOT driver requirements
- Able and willing to operate interstate/OTR routes
- Commercial truck driving experience preferred
- OTR and box truck experience is a plus
- Dependable and punctual
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Safety-conscious and responsible with company equipment
Responsibilities
- Safely pick up, transport, and deliver assigned freight
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain required ELD/logbook and transportation records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and load status
- Properly secure and protect freight
- Follow applicable DOT and FMCSA safety requirements
- Maintain the truck in clean and professional condition
- Promptly report mechanical or safety concerns
