Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting outdoor products, plants, gardening tools, and landscape supplies
- Provide expert advice on lawn care, plant identification, floral design, and landscape maintenance to help customers achieve their outdoor goals
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves efficiently to enhance product visibility
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and replenishment of outdoor and garden products
- Answer customer inquiries via phone communication promptly and professionally
- Assist with floral arrangements or gardening demonstrations when needed to enhance customer experience
Experience
- Previous outdoor work experience or horticulture knowledge is highly preferred
- Strong retail sales background with excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math is advantageous
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Knowledge of plant identification, floral design, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance enhances your ability to assist customers confidently
- Demonstrated organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a tidy sales floor
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial
