Generation Development is hiring a Community Outreach Representative to support a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit through community outreach events and fundraising campaigns across the Houston area. As a Community Outreach Representative, you'll meet directly with customers, introduce them to the nonprofit's mission, and represent a trusted brand dedicated to strengthening local communities.

Every Community Outreach Representative plays an important role in increasing community awareness, supporting fundraising efforts, and helping customers discover meaningful ways to get involved while developing valuable communication and professional skills.
Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Representative
- Engage directly with customers during community outreach events and fundraising initiatives throughout Houston.
- Represent the nonprofit brand professionally while educating customers about its mission, programs, and community impact.
- Build positive relationships with customers through authentic, informative conversations.
- Answer questions and help customers understand available donation and community involvement opportunities.
- Support event setup, execution, and outreach activities that increase brand awareness throughout the community.
- Collaborate with fellow Community Outreach Representative team members to achieve outreach and fundraising goals.
- Participate in ongoing Community Outreach Representative training focused on customer engagement, nonprofit outreach, and brand representation.
- Help strengthen the nonprofit's brand by creating positive experiences for customers at every event.
Qualifications for the Community Outreach Representative
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in community outreach, fundraising, nonprofit work, or customer engagement.
- Comfortable speaking with customers in face-to-face environments.
- Positive attitude with a passion for helping people and supporting the community.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, volunteer work, or community involvement is a plus, but not required.
- Motivated to grow professionally as a Community Outreach Representative.
- Excited to represent a nationally recognized nonprofit brand while creating memorable experiences for customers.

This opportunity offers a weekly base pay of $500 or 30% commission on total funds raised – whichever is greater. Earnings are based on individual performance.
