Operations Assistant (Part-Time) – Posh Nosh Pets

Posh Nosh Pets is a premium fresh dog food company founded by the owners of Cherry Hoggs. We create nutritious, real-food meals for dogs and are passionate about helping pets live healthier, happier lives.
We're looking for a reliable and organised Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that involves food preparation, fulfilment, stock management and helping keep our kitchen operations running smoothly.
This position would suit someone who enjoys being busy, takes pride in being organised, and is comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing large batches of fresh dog food
- Labelling products accurately
- Packaging and fulfilling customer orders
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently
- Counting and managing stock levels
- Organising ingredients, packaging and supplies
- Communicating with the team via WhatsApp
- Helping with general day-to-day operational tasks as the business grows
Working Environment
You will spend much of your time working independently and taking ownership of your daily tasks. Charlie and other team members will be in and out throughout the day to provide support, answer questions, and assist where needed.
You'll work closely with founders Frankie and Charlie and have access to support and guidance from our wider UK team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing international business and make a real impact from day one.
Availability
Monday is an essential working day as this is our main fulfilment and dispatch day.
Occasionally, fulfilment may move to Tuesday depending on operational needs, so applicants must be available to work either Monday or Tuesday each week. One of these days is mandatory.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to manage physical tasks and work on your feet
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Strong communication skills
- Previous kitchen, food preparation, warehouse, fulfilment, or operations experience is a bonus but not required
Bonus Points
While not essential, we'd love to hear from applicants who have an interest in content creation and social media.
If you're comfortable taking photos or videos, creating Instagram Stories or Reels, or capturing behind-the-scenes content for the Posh Nosh brand, we'd love your help showcasing what we do. This is completely optional but would be a fantastic bonus.
