Duties
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Assist with order picking and shipping & receiving processes to ensure accurate inventory management
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently to move materials around the yard
- Maintain a clean and organized yard area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting, stacking, and palletizing goods with proper technique
- Support activities by loading materials onto trucks and preparing orders for shipment
Skills
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, , and load & unload machinery
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to warehouse distribution and materials handling
- Excellent manual handling skills with a focus on safe lifting techniques
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Effective communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced environment
